This old cylindrical cigarette lighter is quite stylish with its black body, gold colored cap and gold writing that reads; John J. Kemp - 551 Fifth Ave. - New York City. The top pulls off to reveal the striking wheel and wick. I have been unable to pull the inside cylinder out which is what you would do to fill it with fluid and replace the flint. I would assume this to be from the 1930's.
It measures about 3/8" in diameter and 2 7/8" long and is in good visual condition with very little wear. As previously stated I have not been able to remove the inner cylinder. The wheel moves freely and there is no flint visible. It has been priced with these things in mind.
