This old serving dish is made of aluminum with a hand forged design that reminds me of poinsettia. The round dish resembles a nappy with a slightly raised edge that has a notched pattern and a single, coiled handle. Stamped on the back is; Farber & Shelving - Hand Wrought - 1700. The tray is pretty enough for a table decoration but could be used for party canapés, tea cookies, crackers or hors d'oeuvres. I believe it is from the 1930’s or 1940’s.
It measures about 7 ¾” in diameter with the handle extending about 2” from the outer rim. It is in very good condition with minimal surface scuff wear.
