This is an old photo of the Horrace Mann School Graduates of 1924. The young girls are all dressed in their lacey summer white frocks and the boys are mostly dressed with jackets and ties. The corner identifies the photography company as Stamey Photo Co. K.C. Mo. It is simple framed under glass in a wood frame with painted grain. It does not have a protective paper back and the cardboard was replaced at some time but it does have information about the picture as it reads "This is my Dad’s grade school graduation picture. In KCMO grade school went through 8th grade. He was born in 1911, so he would have been 13 here. I think he’s seated, 3rd from right." There is also scribbling in felt maker.
It measures about 9 ¾” by 20 ½” and is in fair condition. The glass is in tact with no damage, the frame is good with light wear and the photograph displays nicely, HOWEVER, it appears to have some water damage and looks like areas of it are stuck to the glass, therefore it should probably never be taken out of the frame lest it be completely ruined. As previously stated the back is not original. It is fitted with an old wire for hanging.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
