This thick glass paperweight is an old souvenir featuring a beautiful church in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Across the bottom of the picture it reads; First M.E. Church, Cheyenne, Wyo.. Apparently the First United Methodist Church was founded in 1867 and this church was constructed in 1890 at 18th St. and Central. The back of the paperweight is concave with the paper photograph covered with a thin piece of paper that has the makers information. The paper is torn but you can make out part of it; Manufactured - Wilfred, Smith & - 150 Nassau Street - New York.
It measures about 2 5/8” by 4 1/8” by 7/8” thick and is in very nice condition with minimal wear. The top of the glass has minimal, light scratches. As previously stated, the paper on the back of the photo is torn.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
