This little wooden crate contains a dark, brownish-black plastic bear. The top of the crate reads; Here’s a bear I caught just for you. The slat on one side of the box reads; Denali National Park, Alaska. Attached to the bottom is an old mailing card so it could be mailed just like a postcard. The corner that would take a stamp reads; This novelty can be mailed anywhere in the U.S.A. as it is without wrapping. This is probably from the 1980’s but it is reminiscent of the mailers that were popular in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
The crate measures about 3 5/8” long by 1 ¼” wide by 1 ¾” high and is in good condition with minimal wear. The mailing label has light soiling and an ink pen mark on it.
