This old bisque figurine depicts a gangly, hobo clown. He is nicely detailed wearing a tuxedo jacket with long tails, striped vest, polka dot tie and spats over his oversized black shoes. On his head is a very small hat. His face is decorated with clown make-up and he has a cherry red nose. He’s standing on a small white ceramic base that has a large gold band around it. There are a couple of black ink marks but I am unable to make anything of them. He was probably made in Japan and I believe it is from the 1960’s.
It measures about 6 ¼” tall and the base measures about 2 ¼” in diameter. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
