This is an old tin for Chinwah Talc from Roxey of Paris and New York. The tin is covered with flowing bands of subdued red and blue circles that are clumped in a rather deco-like design. It has a slightly angled oval shape and both the front and back have the same graphics with a medallion in the center comprised of a woman seated in front of an incense bottle. The cap turns to open and close the shaker top. This fragrance came out in the late nineteen-teens and continued into the 1920’s.
It measures about 3 5/8” tall by 4 1/8” wide and is in fair condition with some wear and scratches. There is a couple of shiny spots where the litho is worn down to the bare metal.
