This old covered, oval casserole dish is from the Copper Tint Ovenware line of Anchor Hocking’s Fire-King brand. It has a slightly copper luster finish, sometimes referred to as peach, over the white base. This is the 1 ½ quart size with small, handles at the ends of the oval. It has its original, clear lid that is referred to as an Au Gratin Lid. The bottom reads; 467 - T.M Reg - Fire King - 5 - Made in U.S.A. 1 1-2 QT. It still has its original, foiled paper label glued inside that clearly identifies it as Copper Tint Ovenware from Anchor-Hocking of Ohio and also bears the Good Housekeeping seal.
It measure about 10 ¼” across at the handles by 6 7/8”. I inside measurement at the top is about 8” by 6 ¼” with a taper toward the bottom. I measures about 3” high without the domed lid or 4 ¼” with the lid. It is in very good, unused condition with minimal wear to the finish and no damage. There is one significant scratch to the finish which is shown in the photos. Also shown as a close-up is a bit of debris and “stretch marks” that are in the glass lid.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
