This old postcard shows the fun of a western rodeo with a cowboy riding a decorated buffalo. The rider has his fist triumphantly raised as he passes the camera on this American bison. He’s wearing a large hat and wooly chaps and the caption at the top of the card reads; 5087 - A Happy Cowboy on a Bucking Buffalo. The bottom of the card has a 1910 copyright mark by the Union Pacific Railroad Company. On the back is correspondence with a 1920 postmark.
It measures about 3 1/2” by 5 1/2” and is in fairly good condition with minor edge and corner wear. There is a small, ½” tear on the right hand side of the card and some of the cancellation ink has bled from the back of the card onto the front.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
