This old talcum powder tin use to contain English Lavender by Yardley of London, probably from the 1960’s. The oval tin has simple graphics enhanced with some gold decoration. It has a brass lid the slides open and closed to shake the talc out. It was made and distributed by Yardley of London, Inc. of New York.
The empty tin measures about 4 ½” tall by 2 ½” wide and is in fair condition. The front displays nicely with minor scuff wear. The back has a light dent and both the back and the seam side have rust under the paint which has the paint raised.
