This very nice example of Snow White is an old penny bank. She is gracefully done in soft pastel colors and appears to be looking for her seven dwarfs. The coin slot, which would probably take a silver dollar, is along the right side of her skirt. There are two crude holes in the bottom.
Leeds Pottery was actually not the manufacturer but rather the distributor licensed by Walt Disney Productions between 1944 and 1954 to use their characters for pottery pieces. Production for Leeds was done by many different companies including American Bisque, American Pottery and Regal China with no distinction as to the actual maker of a particular piece.
This measures about 6 1/2" tall and is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage. The crude holes in the bottom have apparently had tape across them as the residue remains.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
