This is an old whiskey nip probably made in Germany in the early 1900's. It is called The Glad Hand and it is a very nice image of a hand with a gold band on the ring finger. In the palm it reads “The Glad Hand” and at the wrist it reads “Patent applied for”. At the end if the wrist is the opening that would have had a cork closure.
It measures about 6” from the opening to the tip of the middle finger and about 3 ¼” from the outside of the pinkie finger to the back of the thumb. It is in very good original condition with minimal wear and no chips or cracks. Some of the paint is rubbed off the thumb and the finger tips. It no longer has the cork.
