This is a nice old Elks Lodge pin on its original identification card. This was probably used as a lapel pin rather than a tie tack since the post on the back is threaded. The elk head is in relief and between the antlers is the clock emblem which is blue and white enamel with a red enamel star. It also appears that the eyes of the elk are enameled. Above the clock is what appears to be a tiny diamond but since it has not been tested it is being sold as a simulated diamond. Below the elk head are the initials BPOE. The back has a threaded post and there is a screw on keeper that is a very shiny silver color but probably not silver. The color is completely different than elk portion and although it came with the piece and looks to have always been on the card, the screw on piece may not be original. The cardboard piece it came on reads; Lifetime Guarantee - Sterling Silver - Richly 24Kt. Gold Plated. The piece itself is mot marked.
It is very small and measures about 5/8” high by 7/16” across. It is in nice condition with light wear. The card measures about 1" by 1 3/8" and is crease and lightly soiled.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
