This delicate bangle styled old bracelet was probably meant for a child. The center of the band has a decorative, open lattice design with chase work along the top edge and sides. The detailing is very pretty. It is hinged on one side and with a tiny pinch release mechanism on the opposing side. It is not marked and is assumed to be gold filled or rolled gold but there is no base metal showing anywhere. This small size might even be used on a large vintage doll.
It measures about 3/16” wide. It is slightly oval in shape measuring about 1 ¾” by 1 5/8”, inside dimensions or about 5 1/8” in circumference. It is in very nice condition as previously mentioned with no discoloration to the gold color. The hinge works well and it closes securely but the slide piece does not seem to work properly. I believe the piece should stay in the inside track and only open a certain distance but the slide piece wants to come out of the track as shown in the photos. It is being sold as is and it has been priced with this information in mind.
