This old sterling thimble has an art nouveau scroll design on the small band around the opening. On the outside it is faintly marked; Sterling along with the hallmarks that I believe are for the Goldsmith Stern Co. of N.Y. ca 1912- 1916. It has a small "s" and a small "c" within a large "G" and also has an anchor. It is also marked with the number 10 which is likely the size.
Overall condition is nice with no holes in the stippled area minimal wear to the detailed edge. It measures about 3/4" high and about 11/16" in diameter.
