This vintage thimble is made of 800 silver and is decorated with a band of guilloche enamel. The band has a white background decorated with pink flowers and green leaves. It was apparently made by the Gabler Brothers Co. of Germany as denoted by the eight pointed daisy flower on the crown of the thimble. The stippled area is stamped 800. On the opposing side in the area just below the stippling and above the enamel is another depression but I can not make out that mark. It could be a size since I find no other indication of size on it.
It measures about 7/8” high and about 5/8” in diameter and is in very nice condition. It has minor wear but does not appear to have any chips to the enamel and there are no holes in the stippling.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
