This vintage celluloid backed pocket mirror is not really an advertising mirror. The oval mirror has the image of the Roman Catholic Spanish priest Junipero Serra. Father Serra was instrumental in the founding of several California missions from San Diego to San Francisco. The image of the friar is in sepia tones and at the bottom it reads; Padre Junipero Serra - Founder of The California Missions. There is no maker on the celluloid. I believe this is from the 1920's or 1930's.
It measures about 2 11/16" by 1 15/16". The celluloid is in nice condition with minor scuff wear and surface irregularities. The mirror side is in fairly good condition with minor discoloration and the metal ring around the mirror has lost much of its plating and has discoloration also.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
