This little figurine is a figural perfume bottle in the shape of a Pierrot like clown. The head and ruffled collar hold the glass dauber that goes inside the clown body. The clown costume consists of a white and baggy outfit with large black buttons, black pocket slits and black shoes. The small head of the clown has tiny facial details, little wisps of brown hair and a pale blue cap. The blue seems to be under glaze but all of the other detail seems to be hand painted over the glaze. The blown glass dauber is inserted into the cork which is attached to the bottom of the collar. The bottom of the bottle is stamped; Made in Japan and I believe this is from the 1930's - 1940's.
It measures about 2 7/8" high and is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
