This old wine glass is one of Heisey’s most beautiful and popular glasses. I believe the pattern of the stemware is called Tyrolean and this is decorated in the #507 Orchid Etching. It was called their 10oz Tall Goblet. I would have called it an eight oz. as ten ounces is filled to the top! These are also occasionally referred to as water goblets. The etching is quite beautiful with the orchid panels alternating with bow and delicate floral spray panels. The stem is elaborate with six panels in the center where one panel is marked with the Diamond H trademark of the A.H. Heisey & Co. of Newark, Ohio.
It measures about 8 1/8” high and 3 ¼” in diameter at the top and 2 7/8” at the base. It is in very good condition with no damage.
