Which ever your preference, this vintage glass is one of Heisey’s most beautiful and popular designs. I believe the pattern of the stemware is called Tyrolean and this is decorated in the #507 Orchid Etching. It was called their 6oz Tall Sherbet but it is often referred to as a champagne glass and works for either. The etching is quite beautiful with the orchid panels alternating with bow and delicate floral spray panels. The stem is elaborate with six panels in the center where one panel is marked with the Diamond H trademark of the A.H. Heisey & Co. of Newark, Ohio. These are especially fun for serving shrimp cocktail or ceviche.
It measures about 6 1/8” high and 3 15/16” in diameter at the top and 3” at the base. It is in very good condition with no damage.
