This is an old, three section rod for cleaning the bore of a rifle or shotgun. The rod is made of wood the metal ferrules that screw together for a two or three section rod. The end of one section has fitting that would accommodate flannel patches. The metal appears to be steel, it is not brass. I find no maker on any of the pieces, metal or wood.
It measures about 37” in total, assembled length and is in good, original condition. It has nice patina and has not been polished or refinished. The tip section has a slight bow to it so the entire rod is not perfectly straight but it seems to have enough flex to travel a barrel.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
