This old tin from the R. Esterbrook Co. of Camden N.J. is unusual to find and comes with its original No.8 drafting compass inside. The lid slides off and inside is the compass with the Esterbrook name. It has a patent which dates it to 1923.
The tin shows considerable wear with paint missing especially along the edges but still quite presentable as unusual as this duo is. It measures about 3 3/8" in length and 2 5/8" across at the widest point.
