These old paper trays with Dennis the Menace comic clips were probably a lot of fun at a cocktail party in the 1950’s and early 1960’s. The trays are made of foiled paper and each one is printed with a classic image from the Ketcham, Dennis the Menace comics that so many of us reads in the Sunday funny papers. There were originally 24 in the box but only 12 remain with a different design on each. They measure about 3 7/16” square and are in fair to good condition with some edge wear, a few creases and rub wear.
They come in their original box that calls them; ashtrays or coasters of aluminum foil. They were made by the Monogram company of San Francisco with a 1952 copyright. The box measures about 3 ¾” square and in fair condition with edge wear and light soiling.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
