This is an old sterling silver youth or baby’s cup. The little cup has flared sides and is generally simply except for the nicely detailed handle which is has a floral motif. There are a series of little flowers and leaves along a trailing stem. On the bottom it is marked; Sterling. There is also a hallmark that appears to be JWW. I believe this might be for the J.W. Wolfenden Corp. or the Wolfenden Silver Co. but I have not been able to document this to any certainty. Above Sterling there are the letters IWR which may be a design reference. I believe this is from the 1930’s - 1950’s. It is NOT monogrammed.
It measures about 1 ½” high at the bowl but slightly higher at the curved handle. The cup portion measures about 2 1/8” in diameter at the top and the base measures about 1 ½” in diameter. It is in very good condition with minimal wear. There is a little discoloration especially inside the bottom which looks like it may have had and anti-tarnish coating.
