This is a lovely topaz and diamond dinner ring done in white gold to enhance the gemstones with a yellow gold band. The ladies two tone ring has many design elements lending to its beauty. In the center is a blue topaz measuring slightly more than 6mm or 85pt set in 4 prongs with a ribbon like detail on either side that each have two 2-3pt diamonds, prong set. Between the “ribbons” on one side of the topaz are five triangular shields each set with one 2-3pt diamond, prong set. On the other side of the topaz are five diamonds, each approximately 5pts, bezel set followed by a pointed fan like design with five sections, each having one 2-3pt diamond, prong set. The total diamond count is 18 with an approximate weight of ½ carat. It is a well made, very attractive and subtly showy ring.
The face of the ring measures about 5/8" by 3/4". The shank is marked 14k on one side but I can’t make out the mark on the other side. It measures slightly larger than a size 7 on my ring mandrel as shown in the photos. It is an estate piece in very good condition with light usage wear and no damage.
