This small scale hammer is usually considered a toy although it could certainly have been used for small jobs. The head of the hammer is cast steel which is nickel plated. The head is attached to a wood handle which has a green finish and is secured by a metal wedge in the end.
It measures about 7 ½” long and the head measures about 2 3/8” from the hammer face to the back of the ball end. The plating is generally good with a little pitting and the flat end of the head is roughly finished with minimal plating. The head is a little loose on the handle but not to the point of coming off. The color on the handle is more like a stain rather than a paint and there are some dark, stained areas on the handle.
