This old thimble is made of sterling silver in the Priscilla pattern which was a popular design from the Simon Bros. company. On the outside it is marked; Sterling - Pat. May 31, 98. It is also marked with the number 9 which would indicate the size. Inside there is a hallmark of a shield with a stylized S in it denoting the Simons Bros. company and it has the faint Priscilla name.
It measures about 7/8” high and about 5/8” in diameter and it is in nice condition with minor scratch wear from sewing needles. The stippled area is in good condition with no holes.
