This old Canco tin is a Don-De Coffee key wind tin from Weil & Company of Cleveland, Ohio. The tin is black, red and yellow with the name being on the front panel. One side panel states that Don-De offered 3 grinds and it uses the slogan; Your Own Good Taste is the Surest Test. The other panel has a copyright date of 1929. The lid also has graphics stating; Enriched with Genuine Java.
The one pound tin measures about 3 7/8” tall by 5 1/16” in diameter and is in nice condition with good gloss and minimal dent and scratch wear. To the left of the black panel of the front there is a flaw that looks like a res spot with a feathered white edge, I’m not sure what it is. The bottom is discolored but not rusted.
