This old tin looks like an old bandaid tin but actually it‘s an Official Boy Scout Personal First Aid Kit from the Johnson & Johnson company. The front and back of the tin are the same with the B.S.A. National Council emblem. One of the side panels lists the contents that were originally in the tin. The hinged lid show the original price of the first aid kit as 98 cents. Inside are some of the original items that were issued with the tin. There are 4 gauze pads, 4 band aids, 12 adhesive tape strips and a tube of burn ointment.
The tin measures about 3 ½” by 2 ¾” by 1 3/8” and is in fairly nice condition with good gloss and minor wear. The front of the tin has several dents but the rest of the tin is very good.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
