This small plate is an old souvenir from La Grande, Oregon. In the center is a stock decal of a lady and her driver in a carriage drawn by two large horses. Beneath the picture is apparently the tribute to the artist, George Stubbs and the title of the work, Amsterdam Holland. At the bottom of the plate, in gold it reads; La Grande Livestock Commission Co. “Bob” Green. The edge of the plate is also trimmed in gold. There is no hanging device on the back, it could be displayed on a plate shelf or used with a plate hanger.
It measures about 6” in diameter and is in good condition with minimal wear to the decal but no other damage.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
