This pretty little girl is an old electric lamp. The young girl looks like she is heading to bed holding a candlestick in her left hand. She seems to be wearing a nightgown which has pale, pinkish lavender highlights and little painted flowers. The night gowns collar and ruffled cuffs are trimmed with gold. If you look closely you can see her bare toes peeking from under the folds of her night gown. The sweet child has an innocent face and her blond hair is pulled into two little ponytails. She is standing on a metal base which is painted white with gold accents. A small socket clips into the hole in the base so the light bulb goes up into the nightgown. The bulb can be an old Christmas bulb or standard nite lite bulb. I have shown it with a white bulb and also with a blue bulb for a completely different effect. The electric cord has and in line switch for turning it on and off. The base has an Underwriters' Laboratories - Portable Lamp label on the bottom. I believe she is from the 1960's.
Overall the lamp measures about 7” tall and the base measures about 3 7/8” in diameter. It is in very good working condition with minimal wear and no chips or cracks or other damage. The 6 foot long electric cord has a non-polarized plug. It appears to be original so care should be taken when using even though is has no splits or damage.
