This old necklace is made of four strands of small beads in varying colors and comes with a pair of matching clip-on earrings. The beads are shaped like a miniature dumb bells or dog bones. They alternate in direction to look like a series of small round beads. They a slightly pearlized in pale pink, pale copper and maroon. Each “bone” measures about 5/16” long. The four strands are attached to a decorative, gold colored clasp bar. One end has a simple hook marked Hong Kong and the other end has series of pearlized beads culminating with a larger bead. The necklace measures roughly 16” in length including the end beads and will probably fit a 16” neck comfortably. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear
The necklace comes with matching earrings which are a simple cluster of the same beads the necklace is made of. The backs and clips appear to be made of brass and the clips are marked Hong Kong. They measure roughly 1” in diameter and are in nice condition with minimal wear and no noted damage. The clips are tight. The metal and clips show some minor discoloration. I believe this set is from the 1950’s.
