This round glass dome is an old paperweight souvenir from Seven Falls. This tourist attraction is a natural series of seven cascading waterfalls in Colorado Springs. The picture on the bottom of the paperweight is a somewhat crude but colorful and stylistic image of the water cutting through the granite canyon. It has a slightly concave, polished bottom. It doesn’t look as though it ever had leather or felt on the bottom. I believe it is probably from the 1950’s.
It measures about 3 1/16” in diameter and 1 ½” high and is in very nice condition with minimal wear and no damage. There is evidence of a sticker of some sort on the bottom but it doesn’t seem to be affecting the image.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
