This beautiful old piece of Heisey is their No.393 Footed Banana Split Dish as shown in their 1913 catalog. This was made by A.H. Heisey & Co. of Newark, Ohio. Although it was marketed for soda fountain use it is an exceptional piece for showing off any fun ice cream creation. In the center of the bowl is the large Diamond H trademark. It has turned purple over time and has a pale lavender color which doesn't photograph well. I have taken the photos with two backgrounds since it is hard for the camera to pick up the color precisely.
The dish measures about 8” long, 3 ½” wide and 3 ¼” high. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear, no chips, cracks or other damage. There is a faint white spot that appears to be in the glass, not on the exterior of the glass which I have shown this in the photos.
Two dishes are available and if bought together the cost will be adjusted to $35.00 each and the shipping will be combined to reduce the costs. They are basically the same with a slight difference in the width and color.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
