This old Lucite plastic pin is quite attractive with it’s striking shape and assortment of brown and yellow tones. There are six, six sided pieces around the perimeter. They have flat tops and faceted bottoms. These are larger than the rest of the pieces which also appear to be six sided but shaped differently. There are nine of these smaller pieces which are also faceted differently that the larger ones. They are all wired to a back plate and present as an angular flower picking up lots of highlights. There at least two and maybe three translucent colors; a brown amber color and yellow, a few look lighter than the others. The back i goldtone, probably brass, with a locking clasp. The bar of the clip is marked: Germany I believe it is from the 1940’s - 1950’s.
It measure about 2 ½” in diameter and is in very nice condition with light wear. There are a few tiny nicks to some of the edges but no major chips, cracks or missing pieces. The pin and clasp work properly.
