This old 78 record was made by the Sav-Way Industries of Detroit, Michigan. The company produced colorful picture records for a very short period, from May of 1946 to August of 1947. This 10" record is numbered R718. On one side is Scott Wiseman's In The Dog House Now with a comical scene of a man in Fido's house and the two glaring at each over. On the other side is Koehler, Jerome & Heindorf's Some Sunday Morning with a happy bride and groom beneath a pair of silver bells and a small chapel in the background. Both sides were performed by Lulu Belle & Scotty whose pictures are an inset within the larger picture. Although these records were great to look at, they were also played.
This one has good color and shows well to display. Overall the record is in nice condition. It has been played and shows light scratches and rub marks when held in angled light. I have tried to show this in the pictures but it is hard to photograph. It has no chips or cracks but there are a few bubbles in the edge lead in and a little discoloration by the hole on one side as I have tried to show in the photo.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
