This old Christmas bulb is a portly snowman. It is made of a milk glass with a paint hat and facial details. It’s hard to see but the snowman has a pipe in his mouth and either a feather tree or a sprig of holly with berries in his right hand. It has a small screw style base to fit in the smaller sockets. The base is marked 15V Japan and I believe it is from the 1930's or 1940's.
The overall length of the bulb measures about 2 5/8” in length and is in fair, nonworking condition with wear to the paint. Also, the left side of his body is gray, probably from when the element inside died and discolored the glass. When tested with a 9V battery it didn’t work.
