This vintage hardbound book is titled Saturday Evening Post Reader of Western Stories. The book is a collection of 18 short stories and 2 novelettes focused on the men and women who lived the life of the West. The book includes stories like Stage to Yuma, Dead-Man Trail, The Hasty Hanging and Fast Gun. Many of the stories were apparently written in the early 1900’s. The book has 358 pages, all text, no illustrations or pictures. There is a preface by E.N.Brandt, Senior Editor of the Saturday Evening Post. It has a 1960 copyright date by the Curtis Publishing Company and it was published by the Doubleday & Company of New York.
It measures about 5 5/8” by 8 ½” by 1” and is in good condition with minimal wear. The pages are crisp and clean and the spine is tight. The cover has minor edge and corner wear. The previous owner’s name is written on the first page.
