NOTE: The first photo with the white background was computer adjusted and is deceptive. The pin is more solid than this shows. It is open between the arms and the riders body but the rest is solid and should show no white. It is not open under the neck of the horse, under the riders chaps, between the rear legs, between the tail and the rear legs or in the middle of the hat.
This old, silver colored metal pin is a nice piece of Western jewelry without a lot of cost. It is stamped out a non magnetic metal which looks like silver but isn’t. The horse back rider is has one hand on the rein and the other arm is outstretched with his hat in hand. The back has a simple closure and it is stamped; Made in Japan.
It measures about 1 5/8” across from the horse’s head to tail and about 2 1/8” from the cowboy’s head to the hind hoof. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear. There is some discoloration on the back and the pin is slightly bent.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
