This old vase is known as a rose bowl and the shape was common in fine Victorian homes. It is a thin, cased glass with a very soft satin finish. The exterior graduates in intensity from a rich fuchsia at the top of the crimped edge to a powdered white over a bright white interior. The bottom has a partially polished pontil mark. It is not marked or labeled but I believe it is Mt. Washington rather than Fenton.
It measures about 4 5/8” high and about 5 ¼” in diameter. It is in nice condition with minimal scuff or scratch wear and no chips or cracks.
