Vintage Glass Ashtray - Booth’s Gin Advertising
This thick glass ashtray is an old advertising piece for Booth’s of London. In the center of the ashtray it reads; Booth’s House of Lords - Finest Distilled Dry Gin, London England. The surround of the decal is gold colored. There are cigarette rests in each of the four corners. The back appears to be a heavy opaque paint covering the decal and the gold paint. This would be a fun piece to spruce up the bar and impress your smoking friends.
It measures about 5” by 6 3/8” by 1” thick and is in good condition with minor wear. There is damage to the glass. There is some paint loss around the edge. There is also a circular area here some of the paint is gone (my guess is someone had a price tag there). It doesn’t show when it’s sitting on the table but if it is held to the light it is obvious. This has been taken into consideration in the pricing.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
