This little cream pitcher is an old piece of restaurant china. The white china is decorated with a flow blue logo that reads; Restaurant Antoine - Fondee en 1840. The Antoine restaurant in New Orleans was founded in 1840 and is purported as being the country’s oldest, family run restaurant. The pitcher is also accented with red and blue, line detailing. On the bottom is the Mayer China- Beaver Falls, Pa. - by Interpace, U.S.A. and a Registered mark. It has a date code, 278 that dates it to the second quarter of 1978.
It measures about 2 5/8” high and about 3 1/8” across at the spout and handle. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
