This shallow old dish has the DU PONT logo within an oval on the flared inside. The logo is on one side only. A thin black line and a lightly wider, reddish pink line encircle the inside of the bowl and there is no decoration on the outside. This could have been used to serve a side dish like vegetables or macaroni & cheese or it may have been used more like a relish dish. I have been unable to document it for sure but I was told this is the china that was used at the DuPont employee cafeteria restaurant. On the bottom is Walker China Vitrified - Bedford, Ohio. The date code appears to be 6-33 which would date this to June of 1955.
It measures about 10” long by 4 ¾” wide by 1 3/8” high and is in very good condition with minor wear and no damage. The inside bottom of the dish has couple of minor scratches.
