This old sterling thimble has a nicely tooled design with a house surrounded by hills and mountains. The detailing is generally sharp but there are also a few other details that are etched more lightly. There is also detailing on the small band around the opening. It is marked Sterling on the outside with the number 11 which I would assume to be the size. Also on the outside is a lightly engraved monogram which appears to be ALP. On the inside it is marked with a hallmark that looks like a crescent with the letter “K”. I have not been able to identify the company. It measures nearly 1” high and about ¾” inside diameter. It is in nice condition with very minor wear to the general detailing but the detail around the bottom edge shows wear and there is a single hole in the stippled area. It is also slightly out of round. These flaws have all been taken into consideration in the price.
