This small hammer is made of steel and weighs under 5 ounces. One end has a round, flat face and the other end is a ball pein head. Hammers of this style are usually considered machinist, gunsmith or jeweler’s hammers and are general used for metal working. The flat face has a smooth, polished surface. The middle band of the head and the grip of the handle are diamond cut for secure grip. I find no maker or other identifying information but it is made like hammers from Indestro Mfg. of Chicago.
It measures about 7 1/8” long and the head measures about 1 ¾” from the hammer face to the back of the ball end. The flat face measures about 5/8” across and appears to have been polished. The ball head has a few nicks. Overall it appears to be in fairly good condition with minor discoloration and wear.
