This old, miniature tin is called Massatta by Lazell Perfumer. The detail and colors are nice with both the front and back being the same. There is an Oriental woman and small child and a panel that reads; The Talcum with the True Oriental Odor. One side has the Lazell Perfumer Guarantee, serial number and; Established 1839. The other side has a graceful bird. The bird motif is carried out on the top of the lid, which turns to shake out the powder, and also has the initials LP.
It measures about 2 1/16" tall and 1 1/4" wide and is in very nice condition with minor wear. There is a spot of litho gone as indicated in one photo and the a little wear to the raised edge near the top. The gold on the bottom is nearly gone and discolored.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
