This simple sprinkler screws to the end of a garden hose for watering a lawn or garden. Cast into the metal is the Rain Bird name. It is made of a cast white metal generally referred to as pot metal and the perforated center portion is also made of some sort of non-magnetic metal, perhaps aluminum. I have not used this so I do not know what kind of spray it has but it should be a nice pattern for running through on a hot summer day. If it’s not used in the garden it could be used for decorating purposes to add interest to a shabby chic décor. I believe the patent on the back is a Design patent which would date this to the early 70’s but it looks like ones used in the 1950’s.
It measures about 4 3/8” wide by 2 ¾”. It is in generally nice condition with some wear from use and some minor discoloration to the finish.
