These old Edison records are for use on a cylinder phonograph. These are Edison Blue Amberol Records. They are made of a plastic material with a plaster core. These are 4 minute records and must be played on phonographs that are geared for four minute records and that have a reproducer with a diamond stylus. These come in original boxes with titled lids. The five records are titled as follows;

3719 - What’s This-Fox Trot (Louis Katzman) Jazzarimba Orchestra 4319 - Moonbeams-Fox Trot (Price Stept) Green Bros. Novelty Band 2660 - Hear Me, Norma-Norma (Bellini) Flute & Clarinet Julius Spindler & Anthony Giammatteo 4391 - Down at the Old Swimming Hole (Wilson-Brennan) Tenor & Baritone w-Orchestra Billy Jones & Ernest Hare 3699 - Southern Dream Waltz (G.H. Green) Xylophone w-Orchestra George Hamilton Green

They all come in an orange, cylindrical, Blue Amberol box with the image of Thomas Edison on the back side and the boxes come with appropriate lids with the record title information.

Each record is about 4 3/16” long and has a tapered inside diameter to fit snuggly on a standard phonograph mandrel. There is some chipped plaster but none of the plaster is badly swollen and these do fit on a standard mandrel. They are in generally good condition with minor wear. Their sound reproduction cannot be guaranteed but from experience, these should play well if used properly and are being sold as-is.

The boxes show age wear, tears and soiling. There is scotch tape around the tops of two lids.

Priced and sold as the group of five.
