This colorful old tin was a Trial Size of Watkins Baking Powder offered by The J.R. Watkins Company. On the front is a proud housewife offering her plate of baking powder biscuits. On the back are the directions and company information. This 2 oz. Trial is probably from the 1940's. It has its original pry out lid.
It measures 1 13/16" in diameter and 2 1/2" tall and is in very nice condition with good gloss, minor wear and light scratches. The worst spot is the white rub mark to the right of the front graphics. There is some a little rust on the ring above the words "Trial Size" and a little discoloration on the bottom.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
