This old, sterling spoon is a souvenir of Fort Dearborn, Chicago. The inside of the bowl has a detailed scene of the fort with ship masts in the background and what appear to be two Indians in the foreground. Along the bottom edge it reads; Ft. Dearborn 1830. The front of the handle has “Chicago” written in a rather abstract font. The back of the handle is monogrammed with the name Margaret. Also on the back is the word Sterling as well an “RW & S” which is for R. Wallace & Sons.
It measures about 5 3/4” long and is in very nice condition with minor wear.
